Entity Settings & Storage
Entity Settings & Storage
Your entity's general settings and its file storage are managed under Settings in the portal at console.zingasuite.com. Any member of the entity can view these; changing them requires owner or admin access (or the Edit entity settings capability).
General settings
The settings page holds the core profile for your workspace:
| Setting | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Name | Your organisation's display name across the platform. |
| Legal name | The formal legal entity name, where it differs from the display name. |
| Billing email | Where billing-related notifications are sent. |
| Country | Your entity's country. |
| Timezone | Used for scheduling, reporting and billing periods. |
| Default language | The default locale for the workspace. |
| Primary currency | The currency used for billing and as your default across apps. |
| Weight & dimension units | Default display units for catalog weights and dimensions. |
A few fields are intentionally not editable here:
- The slug (the workspace's URL identifier) is fixed, because changing it would break existing links.
- The entity status is managed by the Zingasuite team rather than from this page.
Set your timezone and primary currency correctly early on — they affect billing, scheduled sends and reporting throughout the platform. Changes you save take effect immediately across your apps.
Apps
The same settings area is where you turn apps on and off for the entity. Enabling an app (ZingaShop, ZingaConnect, Zingalify or Zingasolve) makes it available to your team in this workspace; disabling one hides it. App choices are per entity, so they never affect your other workspaces. Managing apps requires the Enable & disable apps capability.
File storage
Files you upload — product images, media, documents and other assets — count against your entity's storage quota. Storage is measured and enforced per entity.
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Total storage quota | 2 GB per entity |
| Maximum single file | 2 GB |
The settings page (and the file areas within your apps) shows a live usage meter: how much of your quota is in use, how much remains, and how many files you have stored. When you approach the limit, plan ahead — delete assets you no longer need to free space, since new uploads are rejected once the quota is full.
Tips for staying within quota:
- Remove obsolete product images and superseded document versions.
- Prefer appropriately sized images rather than the largest possible originals.
- Review the usage meter periodically so a full quota never blocks an upload at a critical moment.
