AI Credits

Zingasuite's AI features run on AI Credits (also called AI Tokens). There is one shared credit pool per entity, and every app draws from it. Whether you generate a product description in ZingaShop, enhance an image, analyse a Zingalify attempt, or get an answer from the Zingasolve AI assistant, the cost comes out of the same balance.

One pool, many spenders

Because the pool is shared at the entity level:

Any app can spend from it — ZingaShop, ZingaConnect, Zingalify and Zingasolve all draw on the same balance.
Credits spent by one app reduce what's available to every other app.
You top up and monitor the balance in one place, rather than per app.

Your entity starts with a small pool of complimentary credits so you can try AI features right away.

What consumes credits

Each AI action has a set cost in credits. Costs vary by how much work the action does; the AI Tokens page always shows the current cost of each action. Typical costs include:

Only successful actions are charged. If an AI call fails, no credits are deducted. If a charge needs to be reversed (for example an action that was billed but could not complete), the credits are returned to your balance.

Buying more credits (AI Tokens)

When you need more, buy an AI Token pack from the AI Tokens page. Packs come in several sizes, some with bonus tokens, priced in your entity's currency. Purchasing is a normal checkout through your configured payment method — see Billing & Subscriptions.

Validity

Purchased tokens carry a validity period (typically one year from purchase). When you spend credits, Zingasuite draws down the batch that expires soonest first, so you never lose tokens you could have used. The complimentary starter credits and other special grants do not expire. Subscription plans can also include a token allowance that is granted each billing period.

The AI Tokens page shows your remaining balance broken down by expiry, so you can see exactly how many tokens expire and when.

The credit ledger

Every movement in and out of your pool is recorded in a ledger you can review:

Ledger shows	Example
Grants	Starter credits, a token purchase, or a subscription's periodic allowance.
Consumption	Each AI action that spent credits, with what it was for.
Refunds & reversals	Credits returned for a failed or reversed action.
Expiry	Tokens removed when their validity period ended.

Each entry records the amount, the running balance afterwards, and the reason, giving you a complete, auditable history of how credits were earned and spent.

Keeping an eye on the balance

Check the AI Tokens page to see your current balance, upcoming expiries and recent ledger activity. If an AI action reports insufficient credits, top up with an AI Token pack — the new credits are available immediately once payment completes.
